We tell you what we think your case is worth and how long it will take, even when it is not what you hoped to hear.
Every matter is prepared as if it will go to trial. That preparation is what moves the other side to settle on fair terms.
You will have your partner's direct number. Calls are returned the same business day, and you will never be passed between juniors.
Our practice groups work as one firm. A business dispute that touches employment or property draws on the right people from day one.
The people on your case
You will meet the partner who leads your matter at the first meeting, and you will have their direct line from that day on.

How much does a first consultation cost?
Initial consultations are free for personal injury, employment and family matters. Business consultations are free for the first 30 minutes.
How do you charge for your work?
It depends on the matter. We offer hourly rates, fixed fees for defined work such as closings or wills, and contingency fees for injury claims. You will have the fee agreement in writing before any work begins.
What should I bring to our first meeting?
Any letters, contracts, photos or court papers related to your matter, plus a short timeline of events. Do not worry if you do not have everything. We will tell you what else we need.
Will my conversation be confidential?
Yes. Attorney-client privilege applies from your first consultation, whether or not you go on to instruct us.
Do you take cases outside our home states?
We regularly work with local counsel across the country and can advise on most federal matters. Ask us and we will tell you honestly if another firm would serve you better.
